Morning with you

Gill Cook's exciting new album "Morning with You" is now available on Mainstem Records. Reunited with Steve Waterman for some of the tracks this proves to be an album that highlights her very own distinctive style.

Have a listen to a taster from the new album:

Gill Cook and her band have been part of the London Jazz scene since 2001. The fusion of jazz and latin is an enticing and exciting mix  along with her clear and pure delivery of Jazz ballads. Steve Waterman on trumpet compliments Gill's vocal talents and as Jazz Journal states she "...Phrases well and swings – go along to hear her live".

Gill released "Something Cool" in 2008 to great acclaim - "The true mark of a jazz singer isn't the ability to perform a song, but the ability to take ownership of it. Gill Cook sounds very much like the future of British Jazz. She's a jazz natural." Jazzreview.com USA - and is a regular at Jazz venues. Her new material is again a jazz and latin fusion with a touch of soul, you won't be disappointed.
